As part of our Datatel R18 migration, we are in the process of rolling out User Interface. User Interface, or UI, will be required on R18. While we are still on R17, both interfaces will be available. However, we encourage you to make the transition to UI as soon as you can. There are two versions of UI: client and web. Datatel users in the Administration Building, Bowman Hall, University Services, and General Services can request the client version by contacting the ASK5000 Helpdesk. Users in other buildings on campus can get web UI below (web UI requires Java be loaded on your computer, the correct version can also be downloaded and installed below). Off campus users will have to use web UI and can get it below.User Interface Client

Steps for Installing Java
If you have never used the web-based version of UI, please download and install Java. Java is a required component for web UI:- Get the Java software package here: Get Java Now.
- Save the file to your local computer (do not run it).
- Once the download completes, open the folder and double-click on the file you just downloaded.
- Follow the prompts to install the software.
